Our psychiatric hospital’s medical and administrative staff provide compassion and care to every patient we serve. Our comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services provides individual, group, family, occupational and recreational therapies.
We offer inpatient hospitalization and residential treatment for adolescents ages 11-18 in a nurturing therapeutic environment. Adolescent residential programs and intensive adolescent therapeutic group homes are located in Jefferson County.
Adolescent programs at our facility are maintained on distinct, separate units. Hill Crest also provides a 10-month school program allowing continuance of any educational curriculum for the youth in our care.
We offer a highly structured, multidisciplinary Adult Program for patients ages 18 and older. Issues we address include depression, anxiety, psychosis, mood swings, sexual abuse issues, post traumatic stress disorders, identity disorders, co-occurring disorders, and other emotional problems.
The Recreational Therapy program (Adjunctive Therapy) utilizes recreation and other activity-based interventions. This therapy is based upon the assessed needs of individuals with illness and/or disabling conditions. It also includes specialized group and family therapies.
The purpose of the program is to improve or maintain physical, cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual functioning. Adjunctive/Recreation Therapy offers additional support to the adolescents and adults in our care.
